Watching Bubbles Fall

I watch the bubbles bouncing
on the tabletop.
A giggle dances through the air
as they all go pop!

Pretty pinks and purples
shining in the light.
They land upon my little nose
what a silly sight.

When the day is at an end
and my mommy calls.
I’ll tell her all the fun I had
watching bubbles fall.

  1. Another nice poem. Different in subject and style to the other two, yet I do read a certain undertone of sadness conjoured by that last stanza. Good job once again.
